Community Tech Ambassador Workshop #1

The Community Tech Ambassador (CTA) program, funded with a grant to Reversing Falls Sanctuary from the Maine Community Foundation, will present the first workshop in the series on September 16, 6-8 pm at Reversing Falls Sanctuary, 818 Bagaduce Rd., Brooksville, ME.
This workshop will cover many aspects of the internet and computers such as upload/download speeds, saving and sending files, hard drives, USB connections and types of dongles. It is designed to be informative and useful for experienced and novice internet users. The sessions will be recorded so that participants can review and use the information presented. Review and reinforcement of information is one of the keys to being successful with computers and the internet. If you have ever lost files somewhere on your computer, had a less than successful Zoom session or couldn’t figure how to connect a projector to your laptop, then these workshops are for you. All the sessions will offer lots of hand holding and attention to your specific computer challenges and needs.
While this session will be offered in person, we will adapt to covid updates as they develop. At this point we require all in person attendees (limited to 20) to be fully vaccinated and masked. Registration is also required so that we can control attendance and have a means of contacting you with updates and to send you the recorded session link. Register also even if you only want access to the recorded session. Future workshops will be scheduled at a variety of times/days. Please call/email Daksha Baumann 326-0631 to register or with questions.
