Winter into Spring: Refugia

Please join us on Sunday, March 8^th, 2026 at 2 pm as we welcome Rosa Moore, director of H.O.M.E., who will share with us the story of this unique refuge in our midst. Where else can you find a homeless shelter, a soup kitchen, a food pantry, child care, classes, consignment opportunities, a bargain barn, a diversion/family homeless outreach program, housing and other resources? 

As our political, economic, environmental, and societal situations constantly shift, how do we live out our values of kindness, truth, mercy, simplicity, love and justice?  How do we stay rooted in hope, even though life is becoming increasingly uncertain and chaotic?

Our friends at H.O.M.E. are doing just that every day of the week.  They are bringing to birth an alternate way of being in this world that is witnessing so much cruelty and chaos.  They are respecting the innate dignity of every single person who walks through their door. We have so much we can learn from them. Please join us for this presentation which will be followed by a community conversation.
