Are you looking for more knowledge about preserving the things you grow in your garden?
In this FREE workshop you will learn how to can some basic staples of a home garden: tomatoes and carrots. The teacher, Carol Simanton, has years of experience as a home gardener whose huge harvests necessitated learning how to can to preserve the delicious bounty. Depending on the number of registrants, the class will be held at Reversing Falls Sanctuary, 818 Bagaduce Rd., Brooksville or at St. Brendan the Navigator Episcopal Church, 627 North Deer Isle Rd., Deer Isle.
Registration is required as are vaccinations, boosters, and masks inside buildings.
